Griot Series: Art as Storytelling
These series are hosted monthly and highlight Black artists across disciplines.
Documentaries and podcast series will be created to amplify Black history and experiences.
Artists As First Responders
This program will engage artists in mentorship and community-driven initiatives, which will be integrated with outreach projects that use art for social change.
The art workshop will teach participants basic techniques for making earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. Participants will also use beads, crystals, and other materials
to create amazing pieces of jewelry.
ArtTechEd Program
This program provides high school students access to digital arts, creative technology, and multimedia storytelling for youth in Denver.
Artists will also have the opportunity to connect to workforce development opportunities that utilize newly acquired digital art skills.
Colorado Black Arts Movement will build strategic partnerships with local, regional, and national institutions and develop co-branded initiatives that strengthen artists' networks by connecting with local artists and collaborating with local arts organizations and area nonprofits to provide mutually beneficial programming opportunities.
